When I came to see the space, I found there is a staircase here, I kept thinking about this staircase when I returned to the studio. How could I incorporate it into the artwork? I had previously taken photos of staircases. So I was thinking and I combined the coins with the staircase. Because the staircase always represents an upward state, but the door is sealed shut, there is no way for it to lead anywhere. There is a very clear symbolic imagery here.

Moreover, these coins are in-game tokens with "Sweet Dreams" on them, I want them to bring a sense of playfulness and intrigue to the audience. Coins will drop randomly, but you won’t know where they come from. I think the most important part of this work is waiting for the moment here. I also can not tell you when exactly the coins will drop, because the entire mechanism is programmed to be random. We have no way of knowing when it will happen.
